Monday Programs
Chess AM (1-4) Min/Max | 10/22
Looking for a fun way to help your children improve their critical thinking skills, patience, sportsmanship and problem solving? The class is open to players of all levels from beginners to players with tournament experience. Students will learn the rules and moves of the game, and then focus on basic opening theory. Players will be paired according to their level to play supervised games during each class and deepen their chess understanding by solving checkmates on diagrams tailored to their individual level. Players will learn to use chess clocks and record their moves.

Quiet Minds (2-4) Min/Max | 4/8
Join Mrs. Whiteley for an interactive mindfulness class using guided meditation practices designed for kids. Participants will be encouraged to develop their own practice that they can continue to use at home. Students will be introduced to some basic mindfulness tools, mindful breathing exercises and a little bit of yoga stretching to encourage calmness, increased focus and emotional regulation. What a way to start the school day

Mad Science (K-1) Min/Max | 10/20
Put on your science goggles and come on a Science Adventure! Scientists in Training will gain a basic understanding of all different areas of science while doing intriguing, hands on, experiments! This program covers everything from cool dry ice to hot air balloons, from dinosaurs to a rocket launch that is out of this world, and much more!

Woodworking (2-4) Min/Max | 8/12
In this class, each child will make and paint a wooden grabber. This fun tool is great for reaching things under the bed or on a shelf. It is incredibly fun to make and even more fun to use! Kids along with the instructors help will learn the basics of hammering nails correctly so they don’t bend, proper sanding techniques, using wood glue, and hammering nails. No saws or electric tools needed! When the project is done, time permitting, they will create a small project of their own design to take home.

Creative Crafts (K-3) Min/Max | 4/12
Who doesn’t love arts and crafts! In this after school fun class, we will make a variety of crafts. We will paint, draw, use recycled materials and so much more! These DIY arts and crafts can make great gifts and are a lot of fun to make! Sign up to get crafty!

Hands on Pottery (2-4) Min/Max | 6/18
In this program we will explore several painting techniques on pieces that will all be of use! After the children paint their pottery at school, the pieces will be returned to Hands on Pottery for firing. Upon our arrival the following week, your child will have food, microwave, and dishwasher safe pieces to take home and enjoy.

Join Miss Capilli for an afternoon filled with crafting and creativity! Each week we will create a seasonal or themed craft for students to take home and share with their families. Giggling Pig Art Program (K-2) Min/Max | 8/18
Join us for a 6-week session of after-school art enrichment classes hosted by The Giggling Pig! These after-school classes will be filled with fun and creative projects perfect for the little artist in your life! Students will work with a variety of mediums including watercolor paints, acrylic paint, collage materials, oil pastels, ceramics and more! Each class will feature an amazing new project that they will be excited to bring home! Please remember to have the kids dress for a mess!

Cupcake (2-4) Min/Max | 10/15
Join instructors from My Cupcake Party as they teach the kids to create Indian corn, acorn, teepee, bat, witch, and turkey cupcakes from ingredients you can find at your local grocery store! Students will receive hands on, step by step instruction as they create 2 seasonal designs and one freestyle /design -it -yourself cupcake to take home each week. You won’t believe what the kids bring home!

Thursday Programs
Food Explorer (2-4) Min/Max | 10/18
Join Food Explorers for some delicious fall desserts! Each week you’ll make a brand new recipes focused on fall flavors and ingredients. Vanilla Chai Cake Pops, Apple Cinnamon Pancakes, Pumpkin Lasagna, Chocolate Orange Energy Bites, Maple Pear Cake Pops and Caramel Apple Trifles. All recipes are nut free but do contain dairy, eggs and gluten in some/all recipes.

Guitar Lessons (1-4) Min/Max | 4/8
This class will start you on your way to enjoying music and playing the guitar. You don’t even have to own a guitar; one will be provided for you by the instructor for every class! Each of the six- one-hour classes will provide a high level of group instruction in a fun and cooperative atmosphere. Learn chords, scales and theory and best of all, learn to play your favorite songs! Rental guitars are also available for students to practice their new talent in their home.

Dinosaur World (K-2) Min/Max | 6/12
Step into Jurassic park with new hands-on activities in each class that engage kids' minds and curiosity! Dig up dinos and their fossils from sand, learn about dinos habitat, volcanoes, lava and aspects of paleontology. Each week they create projects that ignite their imagination with prompts from stories such as if dinos were alive today or how you would catch a dino.
