Join us after school for a fun arts and crafts program! Each session begins with an inspiring story, followed by hands-on crafting where kids can create unique projects. They’ll boost creativity, improve reading and motor skills, and have a great time with friends!

This winter, dive into crazy fun at the Mad Science Lab! Create snow, whip up slime, and explore the science of rainbows, bugs, magic, and mysteries. Each week brings exciting experiments, plus students take home a lab coat, goggles, and activities to spark their love for science!

Timeless Treasures! (2-4) Min/Max | 6/12
Unleash your imagination as we turn recycled materials into stunning collages, sculptures, and more! Explore painting rocks, crafting sand art, spinning vibrant masterpieces, and making custom bracelets. This hands-on experience is all about creativity, sensory fun, and fostering a love for art. Along the way, we’ll build teamwork and sharpen problem-solving skills. Let’s create, connect, and inspire together!

Dodgeball! (2-4) 6/18
Engage in our thrilling Dodgeball Program! Experience the excitement as you dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge your way through fast-paced matches. Our program combines fun and fitness, offering a dynamic environment for players of all skill levels.

Food Explorer - Chocolate Confections (2-4) Min/Max | 8/12
Join us for a sweet culinary adventure where kids will whip up delicious treats like Chocolate Pancake Tacos, Chocolate Mini Donuts with Glaze, Strawberry Cheesecake Cups, Orange Chocolate Pies, and Cookies & Cream Pies. It’s a hands-on experience filled with fun, creativity, and chocolatey delights- perfect for young chefs with a sweet tooth!

Tennis (K-2) Min/Max | 6/12
We want to make tennis fun and our after-school offer is a great way for youngsters to learn the game. We are hoping to create tennis players for life. Tennis equipment provided (including racquets).

Guitar Lessons (1-4) Min/Max | 4/8
This class will start you on your way to enjoying music and playing the guitar. You don’t even have to own a guitar; one will be provided for you by the instructor for every class! Each class will provide a high level of group instruction in a fun and cooperative atmosphere. Learn chords, scales and theory and best of all, learn to play your favorite songs!

Fun with Strings (3-4) Min/Max | 4/15
Fun with Strings is an exciting way for any child who already plays a string instrument to increase their skills and learn new songs. Each week, your child will increase their ability to read and interpret musical notation, play musical games, and learn a new song.  This class is open to any student who already plays a violin, viola, or cello.

STEM CLUB! (1-4) Min/Max | 8/12
Our after-school STEM program for grades 1-4 offers hands-on activities that spark creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Each week, students build machines, create inventions, and tackle fun challenges that foster critical thinking and curiosity. Guided by expert instructors, kids experiment and explore while building skills and confidence in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Swifties (2-4) Min/Max | 8/16
Calling all Taylor Swift superfans. In this program, we will play Taylor Swift games, sing Taylor Swift karaoke, create bejeweled crafts, and discuss the singer herself! We will make friendship bracelets and make new friends. Are you ready for it?

Cupcake Decorating (2-4) Min/Max | 8/12
Get ready for a cupcake-making blast with My Cupcake Party! Each week, our fun instructors will teach kids how to whip up winter, Valentine’s, and St. Patrick’s-themed cupcakes using everyday grocery store ingredients! They’ll follow step-by-step instructions to create two seasonal designs and one freestyle cupcake to take home. The creations will wow you—don’t miss out on the sweet fun!

Little Inventors (K-2) Min/Max | 8/12
In this inventive program, students work together to design solutions to real-world problems. They’ll identify the need for new inventions, build structures, and experiment with different materials. One STEM challenge involves constructing bridges and testing how much weight they can hold. Along the way, students will explore the stories of famous inventors and discuss how inventions have improved our daily lives.

Woodworking (2-4) Min/Max | 6/12
This winter, join Elm Street Events for the Young Woodworker’s Club and create a fun, working gumboil machine! Kids will learn basic woodworking skills like hammering nails, sanding, and using wood glue—all with no saws or electric tools. With the help of our instructors, they’ll build and personalize their machines before painting them to make each one unique. It’s a hands-on project that’s as fun to build as it is to use!

Chess Club (1-4) Min/Max | 6/22
Looking for a fun way to help your children improve their critical thinking skills, patience, sportsmanship and problem solving? The class is open to players of all levels from beginners to players with tournament experience. Students will learn the rules and moves of the game, and then focus on basic opening theory. Players will be paired according to their level to play supervised games during each class and deepen their chess understanding by solving checkmates on diagrams tailored to their individual level. Players will learn to use chess clocks and record their moves.
