Glide into Fun with Ice Skating Lessons!

Let your child experience the thrill of the ice with our Saturday morning skating lessons at NCRINK! Perfect for kids ages 5-10, these sessions turn wobbles into confidence as they learn essential skills like how to fall and get back up, glide smoothly, master beginner backward skating, and even tackle fun turns. It’s all about building balance, coordination, and a love for skating one glide at a time!


Schedule:
  • Lesson Time: Saturdays, 9:00–9:45 AM
  • Dates:  January 4, 11, 25, and February 1, 8 (No Class Jan 18th) 
  • Open Skate: Students can stay on the ice until 10:00 AM.
Makeup Days:
Makeup classes will be scheduled on Saturdays at 9:00 AM in February or during evening sessions (Tues/Wed/Thurs at 6:30 PM)

Price: $190 (includes skate rental) 

Helmets Required: All skaters must wear helmets. Parents/guardians are responsible for putting on helmets and skates.

Our Instructors:
  • Jane Lane
    Jane is a U.S. Figure Skating member and a double gold medalist representing the Skating Club of New York and Fairfield County. She has competed at the regional and local levels, including at the senior level. Jane has also taught group skating lessons to children of various ages and skill levels, sharing her expertise and passion for the sport.
  • Kristin Burkhart: A U.S. Figure Skating Double Gold Medalist, Kristin has coached beginners to competitive skaters and specializes in developing edges and power skating for hockey players.
