Adult Skating Lessons
Thursdays, January 16, 23, 30, February 6, 12:15 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
(The last 15 minutes of each lesson is free skating time.)
Cost: $120 per session (Skates provided if needed)
These group lessons, designed for older adults, focus on skating fundamentals in a relaxed and social atmosphere. Depending on skill level, lessons will cover basics such as starting and stopping, changing direction, crossovers, and more. Instructors will tailor instruction to each participant’s comfort and ability.
Important Details:
  • Participants should be comfortable moving across the ice without support.
  • The rink will be closed to other skaters during this time.
  • Class size is limited to 10 participants, with a minimum of 4.
  • One makeup lesson per session will be offered for cancellations due to inclement weather.
  • In case of class cancellations, we will notify Lapham Community Center via email at least one hour before the lesson starts.
  • Helmets are recommended for all skaters during lessons. Instructors and rink staff are not allowed to assist with putting on helmets or skates.
Seasonal Passes Available:
  • Adults: $190
  • Seniors (65+): $140
Seasonal passes are not required to register for lessons.
