Monday Programs

Lil Sprouts Yoga (Grades 2-4) Min/Max | 8/14
This class is designed for children to unwind and recharge after a busy day in the classroom. Through a combination of flowing movement, breathing exercises, and self-regulation techniques, kids will develop mindfulness and relaxation skills in a supportive environment. They’ll learn to be present, find calm, stretch their bodies, and let go of stress in a fun and engaging way.

Pokemania (Grades K-4) Min/Max | 8/18
Students will dive into the world of Pokémon, designing their own gyms, battles, and even an entirely new generation of Pokémon! Along the way, they’ll explore real-world science by learning about the habitats that inspire Pokémon environments. This hands-on, creative adventure will ignite their imagination and help them become the ultimate Pokémon Trainer!

Mad Science (Grades K-2) Min/Max | 6/18
Step into spring with Mad Science! Explore blooming flowers, wiggling worms, fluttering butterflies, soaring birds, and the power of wind and ocean waves. Students will also discover how their senses work through exciting hands-on experiments. Each participant will receive a lab coat, goggles, and specially designed take-home activities to continue the fun and deepen their love for science at home!

Tuesday Programs
Chess AM (Grades 1-4) Min/Max | 10/22
Looking for a fun way to help your child improve critical thinking, patience, sportsmanship, and problem-solving skills? This class is open to players of all levels, from beginners to those with tournament experience. Students will learn the rules and moves of the game, along with basic opening strategies. Players will be grouped by skill level to play supervised matches and sharpen their chess understanding by solving checkmate puzzles tailored to their individual level. They’ll also learn how to use chess clocks and record their moves.

Mad Science (Grades 2-4) Min/Max | 8/16

Explore the science all around you in this exciting hands-on program! From blooming spring plants to rockets soaring into space, students will discover how science shapes our world. Through engaging, project-based experiences, we’ll uncover the forces behind movies, toys, weather, and even the inner workings of our own bodies. Along the way, we’ll collect rocks, minerals, and maybe even some gross surprises—all in the name of science! Each student will receive a Mad Science lab coat, goggles, and fun take-home items to keep the excitement going beyond the classroom.

Guitar Lessons (Grades 2-4) Min/Max | 4/8
This class will get students started on their journey to enjoying music and playing the guitar. No guitar? No problem! Instruments will be provided by the instructor for each class. Students will receive high-level group instruction in a fun and cooperative atmosphere while learning chords, scales, and basic music theory—and best of all, they’ll get to play their favorite songs!

Kids Can Cook Too w/ Mrs. Orlando & Mrs. Griffin (Grades K-1) Min/Max | 6/12
Join us for a fun-filled culinary adventure! Grab your aprons and baking hats as we whip up delicious treats together. From measuring and mixing to baking and tasting, students will get hands-on experience creating delightful spring recipes. Crochet Creations (Grades 2-4) Min/Max | 6/12
Join us for a fun and creative after-school crochet program where young crafters will learn the basics of crochet while making their own handmade projects! Students will start by practicing fundamental skills as they create a simple bracelet. Next, they'll build on their techniques to craft a colorful keychain. In the final weeks, participants will put their new skills to the test by making a cozy pom-pom hat! This program is perfect for beginners and encourages patience, creativity, and fine motor skills—all while having fun with yarn!

Confidence Makers Lab by Launch Her Further (Grades 2-4) Min/Max | 8/18
Fostering confidence and camaraderie among girls through craft activities, group discussion, and independent reflection. Lessons will include how to be mindful, embrace challenge, and address conflict. Craft projects will include windchimes, collages, jewelry, sand art, and flowerpots. Contemporary role models, such as Taylor Swift, Serena Williams, Simone Biles, and Caitlin Clark will help illustrate the lessons.
