Soccer- Fall 2026 (Grades 1-4)
New Canaan Recreation Soccer Program
Our co-ed soccer program offers a fun, supportive environment where kids can learn the fundamentals of soccer. The focus is on building physical skills, confidence, and teamwork through structured practices and games.
Each child will receive a t-shirt. We recommend players wear shin guards, sneakers or cleats, and bring plenty of water.
Must register by 8/24 to get t-shirt
Please bring a soccer ball to each practice.
Schedule & Details
- Days: Thursdays and Saturdays (1-hour time slots)
- Practices: Thursdays| 5:30–6:30 PM (subject to change with daylight)
- Games: Saturdays
- Fee: $110.00
Divisions
Please note: Divisions may be combined or canceled based on enrollment. Co-ed divisions may be created if needed.
- Grades 1–2 (Co-Ed)
- Grades 3–4 (Co-Ed)
Saturday Game Times (subject to change based on number of teams)
- All Grades Play at 11:00 AM
Game Format
- Grades 1–2: 7v7 on small-sided fields | Size 4 ball | Shin guards required

Coaches & Volunteers
Coaching will be provided by Elite Sport Services, but we are always looking for parent volunteers to help out during practices and games. No extensive soccer experience is needed, and guidance will be provided to help make it a fun and positive experience for the kids.
