Monday Programs
Fall Fun STEM: A Science Adventure (K–2)
Get ready to explore, build, launch, and experiment! Each week features a new hands-on STEM adventure, including Magnet Madness, hot air balloons, dinosaurs, the human body, rockets, and fall science fun. Every scientist receives their own Mad Science lab coat, safety goggles, take-home STEM activities, and plenty of exciting hands-on learning!
Gamebot Robotics (1–4)
In this exciting robotics program, kids work in teams to design, build, and program LEGO® robots while competing in fun, game-based challenges. Along the way, they'll develop coding, engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork skills while building a Go-Kart, Hockey Robot, and more.
Young Woodworkers (2-4)
Students will build their very own squirrel feeder using real tools and quality materials! They’ll learn basic woodworking skills like hammering, sanding, fitting, and assembling while creating a fun project they’ll be proud to take home and display in their yard or garden.
Esports Gaming: Super Smash & Mario Kart (1–4)
Get ready to game! Students will compete in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, two official CAS and CIAC esports titles. Experienced coaches will guide players through fun, competitive gameplay while building teamwork, strategy, and good sportsmanship. All sessions are played on Nintendo Switch.
Tuesday Programs
Chess AM (1-4)
Join your classmates for before-school chess! Beginners will learn the rules, moves, and basic strategies, while intermediate players will build advanced skills and compete against challenging opponents. Students will play supervised games, practice checkmate strategies, and have opportunities to participate in tournaments.
Guitar Lessons (2–4)
This class will start students on their way to enjoying music and playing the guitar. You don’t even have to own a guitar; one will be provided by the instructor for every class! Students will learn chords, scales, theory, and best of all, how to play their favorite songs in a fun and cooperative atmosphere.
Kids Can Cook Too w/ Mrs. Orlando & Mrs. Griffin (K-2)
Come join us for a fun filled culinary experience. Grab your aprons and get ready to make some tasty treats. Together we will prepare, measure, mix, bake, and even taste some delightful fall recipes. Some recipes include apple pie bites, monster cookies and other delicious treats. Let’s get baking! Disclaimer: recipes include gluten and dairy
SNAG Golf Academy (K–4)
Introduce your child to golf in a fun and engaging environment! Led by PGA Professional Joe Connerton, this program uses the SNAG (Starting New at Golf) system to teach fundamentals through age-appropriate games and activities. Participants will learn putting, chipping, pitching, safety, and proper golf technique while building coordination and confidence.
Wednesday Program
Future Stars Basketball Academy (K-4)
The Future Stars Sports Academy is excited to continue the most comprehensive basketball and child development program for boys and girls. Featuring lower baskets, smaller balls, instruction, game play, contests and much more!
Cupcake Club w/ Ms. Terceria (1-4)
Join East School’s own Ms. Terceira for a fun, hands-on After School Cupcake Club! Each week, students will decorate seasonal cupcakes while learning basic frosting and decorating techniques. Students will create guided designs and have the chance to get creative with their own freestyle cupcake. Themes include fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and more!
NASA: Space Lab (2–4)
3...2...1... Blast off! Young explorers will journey through the solar system with hands-on experiments, projects, and NASA-inspired challenges. Students will explore planets and moons, create galaxy slime and an icy comet, learn how astronauts live in space, design a space shelter, and discover the science behind rockets. The program also includes an exciting instructor-led rocket launch!
Thursday Programs
Laser Tag On The Go (2–4)
Designed for all skill levels, this program delivers action-packed fun while focusing on teamwork, strategy, and fitness. Each week features new game modes and challenges that build confidence, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Confidence Makers Lab by Launch Her Further (2-4)
Building confidence & camaraderie through crafts & conversation. Our fall session will give girls the tools to make new friends, cultivate healthy friendships, and navigate friendship bumps while staying true to themselves. We will make candles, seashell trinkets, jewelry, pressed flower art, and more.
Art Innovators (K-2)
Get creative in this hands-on art program! Students will draw self-portraits, mold sculptures, create collages, and explore the work of famous artists from da Vinci to Kahlo. Along the way, they’ll build creativity and confidence while having fun creating and sharing their own artwork.
