Paddle Party Information

Paddle Tennis Party Information and Regulations
- Eligibility: The Waveny Paddle Lodge is available for rental by current season permit holders from mid-October through March. Reservations can be made up to one month in advance.
- Days and Hours: Rentals are for Fridays or Saturdays only, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- Facilities: The rental includes two paddle courts; other courts remain open for public use. Maximum occupancy is 40 persons.
- Fees: A rental fee of $150 is due upon application submission. An attendant will check permits before play begins and will collect $15 (credit card only) per player for each non-permit holder guest.
General Rules:
- Players not in your party may use other courts and have access to restrooms through the back door.
- The Lodge must be vacated by 10:00 PM.
- Due to inclement weather, courts and the Lodge may be closed at the Recreation Director's discretion.
Party Rules:
- Decorations require prior approval and must comply with State Fire Codes.
- Furniture may not be moved or removed.
- A service bar may only be set up on the kitchen countertop; coolers and ice buckets cannot be on floors or tables.
- No grills or pets allowed.
- Children’s parties are prohibited.
- Smoking and helium balloons are not permitted.
- LED candles only.
- Storage space is not available; all items must be removed post-event.
- The stove and oven may only be used for reheating food.
- No tape, nails, or screws on walls; nothing may be hung from lighting fixtures.
- Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed inside the Lodge; consumption on courts is prohibited.
- Use of projection equipment or extra lighting requires prior permission.
Clean-Up Responsibilities:
- Users must clean up by 10:00 PM.
- Trash must be sealed in plastic bags and placed in the proper receptacles.
- Recyclables must be taken away by the user.
- Clean kitchen surfaces and floors.
- Food items must be removed from sinks, and Lodge property must be cleaned and returned.
- Users are responsible for leaving the facility as it was found.
- Damage or failure to clean properly will incur a $100 fee or the cost of actual damages.
Food & Kitchen Use:
No food may be prepared or cooked at the Waveny Paddle Lodge. The stove and oven may not be used to heat food. Outside food is permitted, including crockpots and chafing dishes.
A Paddle Tennis Attendant will be on-site during your contracted hours to ensure compliance with all regulations. Please check in with the attendant before your event to clarify any rules regarding set-up and clean-up.
